Kim Hague
|
northeast Team beef
ingredients
3 pound chuck roast
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon cracked pepper
1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
2 pounds radishes, halved
1 pound frozen green beans
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup beef broth
Cooking instructions
Coat the chuck roast in the salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over high heat and add the oil. When oil is hot, add the roast and sear on all sides until browned.
Transfer the roast to a slow cooker and add the radishes, green beans, onion powder, garlic powder, and beef broth.
Cover and cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours, or until the beef is easily shred with a fork.
Taste and add additional seasoning if desired.
