Team Beef in the Northeast

When it comes to choosing high-quality proteins, beef is a nutritious choice with an unbeatable taste. Naturally nutrient-rich beef gives you more essential nutrients (10 to be exact!) in around 170 calories per serving. That’s a lot of nutrients in such a small package. Team Beef members know first-hand how beef helps their bodies build and maintain muscle mass, recover after long training runs, and fuel them to the finish line.

How does it work? 

First of all, you must complete a team application and submit it prior to February 1. If you are selected to represent Team Beef for 2018, you will be notified by February 9, 2018.

All members are required to participate in a team webinar/conference call once per running season (February 9 - September 30). This will give us time to get you some background on the beef industry and great beef nutrition tips that you can use and share with your fellow runners. (Recorded webinars will need to be viewed by May 19. Anyone who has not completed a webinar by this time will forfeit their spot on the team.) 

You will be given a Team Beef jersey that you will need to wear in the race you are submitting for reimbursement. Upon completion of your races wearing your Team Beef jersey, email a picture of yourself in your shirt at the race to and fill out the reimbursement form. You will be reimbursed for your entry fee into the race (based on the tiered reimbursement structure) via a check that will be mailed to you. (You must sign up for each race that you plan on participating in on your own.) All reimbursement requests for the 2018 team season must be in by September 30, 2018.

Application Process

Our team season coincides with the NEBPI’s fiscal year, which runs October 1, 2017-September 30, 2018. We will be accepting applications NOW until February 1. Your application will be reviewed and if you are awarded presence on the team, you will be notified prior to February 9, 2018.
